Lucknow High Court Grants Bail to Mohammad Sameer

Lucknow: The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Mohammad Sameer, who was booked under FIR No. 364/2025 at Thakurganj police station, Lucknow, on charges under various sections of the BNS, the SC/ST Act, and the POCSO Act.

Justice Karunesh Singh Pawar passed the order, observing that the medical report regarding the victim’s age had a possible margin of error, while in her statement, the victim had expressed willingness to marry the applicant. The court also noted that the applicant has been in jail since June 30, 2025, and has no previous criminal record. Considering these facts, the bail plea was allowed.
